I think Bingo's right. The other thread is so long, it just is very difficult to keep up with. I have a saved ran open for it on my laptop, but I can't easily get to the current comments on my phone, except I can read but not post through my RSS reader.
And my hubby is the superhero, not me. I just have a mild baby addiction and an overachieving personality. Lol They really are the best kids in the world.
(Going back to anon sign in, cause juggling different Google accounts is hard.)
Yea, the number of comments was crazy. This whole case has fascinated me, and a lot of other people as well. So, if people come here and want to talk and the comments get long, I'll just open a new post, so that the number of comments can be somehat contained and easier to go through. Mom, Bobcat and Bingo, if you guys have any ideas, let me know.
I am one that has only commented probably 2 times on SA but read it daily. Thank you for making this blog spot. I will be here daily too, although I will probably not add much. I enjoy reading what you all have to say and I rarely have anything of value to add.
What do you think of me making you an allowed author here? Meaning you can make posts here. I was thinking that way, when you do the sermon transcript (if you're still doing it), you could make it a post, instead of putting it in the comments. Let me know what you think.
I like the idea of a general thread and one for each sermon as they come. Maybe a new general each time the comments are about to roll to page two. Just my two cents.
Now that we are on a new, fresh forum, I wanted to see what you guys think about a few things. Why do you think Peter just abruptly stopped with DB? I am guessing there wasn't too much to SA since Davey stopped his Nothing is Wasted media blitz. However, some of the sermons have been quite analyzable! Ha! Also, just wanted to see where you guys think we are on the case. Is it a done deal, case closed OR do you think LE is still at work? Also, last thing, don't you guys find it interesting that People didn't do a story on this case. Did everyone just catch on to the fact that this husband is just not the grieving hubby they needed for a good story. The media was all over it for a few weeks and then it was just gone. A young good looking pastor of an up and coming church tragically loses his beautiful wife and unborn baby. It is just the kind of story People would go after.
I Just started watching sermon and already he is talking about 1)another scary show he watched growing up 2)baby talking like Weston in the most annoying voice and 3)talking about death and thoughts of suicide. I am only at 10 minutes. Already need a break.
I think I just need an email address to add you. I don't know if you're comfortable with that, but what I did was just made a new email with gmail. If you want, you can email me at rellawife@gmail.com
I was just discussing this with Concerned, but it appears to me that Davey is different. He seems less agitated, less all over the place, calmer. I have only watched a little of the sermon and he does talk about violence, etc. We can analyze that later. However, He is a little more polished and together in his sermons. He is talking about Amanda more, tweeting more appropriately, etc. His eyes are less wide and dilated. I think he was on some kind of drug and is no longer using. Concerned seems to think someone got him help (maybe a certain mentor)Concerned, you can chime in as I don't want to speak for you. I agree somewhere he got help.
Rella, I came back to read the very beginning of this blog tonight and realized this very second that you set it up from the beginning ! I have been referring to it as "Bobcat's blog" the whole time. Major credit where credit is due (to both you and Bobcat) and THANK YOU for making this place where we can continue to talk about this case and be (more or less) away from the trolls/defenders on the other boards.
Thank you for your kind words. I did indeed set this up, but it really was Bobcat's idea. I have no problem with it being referred to as Bobcat's blog, as she does everything here, and it is a lot. I'm happy to have helped!
Someone should write up the Anne Barber Dunlap murder, which is unsolved. Police conducted a five-hour interview with her husband, who was the prime suspect, but the transcript has never been released. It would be kewel if someone could get it and post it.
Background on the case: http://truecrime.wikia.com/wiki/Murder_of_Anne_Barber_Dunlap
I'm just wondering if I'm the only person that thinks DB makes no sense? He skips through ideas not making complete thoughts, and none of it lines up with the side stories he tells. It's weird to me, like I have to read it 3 times to assure myself it's him, not me. What is his point? He winds up changing the intent of the bible passages, or so it seems to me.
Thanks, Rella. I hope everyone else will join us.
ReplyDeleteNo problem!
ReplyDeleteMom2-
ReplyDeleteHave you watched the latest sermon? I haven't yet, but I'll get to it soon. The things he has said previously make me cringe.
Not yet. I haven't been watching since his return. He's so hard to listen to. Maybe I will later.
ReplyDeleteI just went in and changed my sign in name. I have more than 6 kids now.
ReplyDeleteWow, more than 6! You are a superhero!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, he is very hard to listen to!
I don't know what happened over on the SA blog, but all of a sudden, it seemed like everyone was gone.
ReplyDeleteI should be able to transcribe the latest sermon tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteBobcat-
ReplyDeleteYou are also a superhero for being able to stand watching, listening and listening again to him! Thank you so much
SO glad to be on a fresh page! HAving trouble signing in as Bingo3 tho
ReplyDeleteOk maybe now
ReplyDeleteRella, I think people just got tired of going in, refreshing and scrolling to the bottom, Hopefully we can start fresh here and continue discussing!

ReplyDeleteNo thanks are needed. I don't add much to the comments either, but I enjoy reading what others think.

ReplyDeleteThat would be fine. Is there any way I can be an author withOUT using a google account?

ReplyDeleteI just found my way here. Are the people on this blog finished posting on the SA Blackburn blog or are you going back and forth between the two?
ReplyDeletePak-
ReplyDeleteI'm still reading at the SA blog.
I still read and post at SA.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone here know the link to the SA post with the 1000+ comments on it? The one that this site branched off from? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi Pak!

Very good - thanks. Both of you do an amazing job here. I hope you two and the rest of us who comment here can make a difference ! - time will tell.
